Performance is important to keep sailing exciting, but it is balanced with a focus on ruggedized, customizable sails, with school personalization – at the right price point.
Ruggedized sails
Our CFJ and C420 sails are made in top of the line Dacrons, starting at 250 g/sqm (5.8 Oz) with options to go to 300g/sqm (7 Oz). Many programs opt to upgrade the jibs to 300 g/sqm.
Additionally our constructions specs are focused on eliminating all failure points and facilitating on-going maintenance: no leech tape on jib, extra tail on main luff boltrope, sewn-in soft battens, etc.
Customizable sails
Your sailors may have differing ability levels, from never-evers, to All-American candidates. At iSails, we understand this, and we provide a full customization with most options carrying no extra charge. We can deliver our mains with traditional foot or free foot, classic or floating tacks, etc. We can provide tweaking options via leech lines, velcro’d battens, etc … or simplify the setup and sew in the battens, eliminate leech lines, etc – We can even tweak the sail to the average conditions at your venue, with bigger roach, draft adjustment, etc..

Personalized sails
Personalized sails are extremely important, from identifying boats in training and during races, to broadcasting the right image for outside communication and creating alumni and booster recognition.
We offer a standard package including race stripes and 2 ft color coordinated race numbers; and we complement it with numerous options to display the school logos and colors, from simple insignia Dacron cut-out letters to full multi-color printing.
